So, you heard by now about alternative fuels? 

Carl’s Jr. Fuels Arizona Fleet With Waste Vegetable Oil 

They say it smells like french frys cooking when used.  Very interesting… did you see the movie Idiocracy?  Pretty dumb movie? In this movie, Idiocracy, Carl’s Jr. sponsors everything and including the gov’t.  Now they are supplying vegetable oil in lieu of fossil fuels.

French fries do not meet the standard to be listed as a “processed food”, it is a vegetable accordng to the US dept. of agriculture. 

On another note, while we’re talking about the middle east.  SAE audio school had opened up a location in Kuwait last year.  http://www2.sae.edu/me/kuwait/   That’s hardcore, western designs sitting in the desert to teach middle easterners to use transducers… There is also another one in the middle east in Dubai.  What an awesome looking city for their buildings.  I remember when i was a kid reading an article about a Saudi prince investing millions into Apple Computer.  Fascinating I thought, as these oil giants knew good machines.  I wonder if they like french fries?

The warm weather recently has made several of my roses from my rose gardens to bloom.  What I noticed that was creepy was tiny little green insects in clusters on them.  I figured they were aphids but then I realized I didn’t really know what aphids are; I must had heard that expression before.  So I googled it and sure enough they are aphids.  I am glad I didn’t use an agent on them because all you need to use is water.  I have read about garlic oil and flour, and the flour thing is interesting as it tends to suffocate them.  I’ll post some new pictures of the rose gardens soon as more come in and as I get rid of these pests.
